The UR Stars in Service campaign is an annual platform offered to any and all dining, facility, and transportation workers. This platform seeks to allow dining, facility, and transportation workers the opportunity to share their life stories or their talents to the student body. By having this program, not only would their identity as members of the University of Rochester community be acknowledged, but their identity as members of the greater Rochester community would be embraced.  Having this annual event would allow for more connection and communication between the student body and the workers that serve the University’s basic needs of food, transportation, and cleanliness among the other intangible services they provide. This campaign will be paired with the UR a Star Award that seeks to specifically identify workers that have an impact on the University climate and the student body.
